Today, The Sandbox announced its new partnership with the South Korean-based commercial bank, KEB Hana Bank, which has one of the largest ranges of foreign exchange. This also has a mission to expand the global metaverse business in the banking industry.
The Sandbox and KEB Hana Bank are collaborating to establish a new style of event marketing. Although the KEB Hana Bank was built recently, it is the country’s top-rated bank that has the largest assets in the year 2015, having 199 branches in 24 countries.

It entails developing a collaborative business strategy, such as operating a virtual branch at The Sandbox metaverse to provide basic financial services and encouraging investment or coloration possibilities with The Sandbox’s other partners.
Simultaneously, Hana Financial Group will be presented in K-verse, a virtual area encompassing all types of Korean material, to meaningfully reach Gen Z.
According to the Deputy President of KEB Hana Bank, So Jung Kim, he stated that “The metaverse is the way people will experience Web3, and we want to be a part of this new trend. This partnership can open a door for a brand-new type of service, especially for the young generations.”
In addition, the CEO of The Sandbox Korea, Cindy Lee, shared that “We are excited to see KEB Hana Bank enters the metaverse to create new kinds of content. This will be the next frontier of easy-to-use metaverse banking service for users.”
